My name is Martin. I was raised as a resort attraction. When i was abandoned the zoo rescued me. I am a reminder that wildlife aren't pets or toys. Since I was raised by humans I could not be put back into the wild, so here I live happily teaching guests about my species.

It's me! Chiqui the Jaguar with a story to share. I was found drowning and dying and gasping for air! But luck came my way on that bleak, frightful day. I was rescued! Happy me! and now you can see Belize jaguars are special. Protect and respect us for eternity.

Description

The Jaguar (Panthera onca) is a powerful big cat with a distinctive golden-yellow coat and dark rosette markings. Native to various ecosystems in Belize, including rainforests and savannas, these felines are apex predators.
